Bodog required a series of Social Media giveaways for the 2010 World Cup. In order to increase the hype of the event, we came up with wallpapers, social media backgrounds and avatars that people could use to show their support for their favorite team while increasing brand awareness. We also created an infographic to initiate the hype for the 2010 World Cup.
The theme of the infographic was to include fun facts of the world cup while also providing some strategic betting information. The design of the social media campaign needed to flow with the infographic that we made and the brand direction of their world cup website.
The social media campaign included wallpapers, social media backgrounds, and avatar for each team in the World Cup, total of 32 teams.
In order to achieve flow between the teams, we decided on creating a few elements that would stay the same on each graphic, the background, man with a jersey, balls, and logos. The items that would change were the colors of the background, jerseys, crest, world cup logo, and country name.
